Follow these steps to configure ZoogVPN on your MiWiFi router using the L2TP or PPTP protocol.
Step 1: Access the Router Settings
- Connect your device to the router via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
- Open a web browser and go to router.miwifi.com or miwifi.com.
- If these URLs don’t work, try entering 192.168.31.1 in the address bar.
- Log in using your admin credentials (default username and password are often found on a sticker under the router).
Step 2: Navigate to the VPN Settings
- In the router control panel, click Advanced Settings.
- Select the VPN section from the menu.
Step 3: Add a New VPN Connection
- Click Add Service.
- Fill in the required fields as follows:
- Connection Name: Enter a custom name (e.g., “ZoogVPN”).
- Protocol Type: Select L2TP (recommended) or PPTP.
- Server Address: Enter the domain name of the ZoogVPN server you want to connect to.
- You can find ZoogVPN server addresses here.
- Username: Enter your ZoogVPN login (from the ZoogVPN app or manual setup page).
- Password: Enter your ZoogVPN password.
Step 4: Save and Connect
- Click Save to apply the settings.
- Select the newly created VPN connection and click Connect.
- Wait for the router to establish the VPN connection.
Step 5: Verify the VPN Connection

- Check the VPN status in the router settings — it should say Connected.
- To confirm your new IP address, visit “what is my IP address?” and check if it reflects your chosen VPN server location.
